If you love cheap vintage clothing, then you must be a fan of vintage T-shirts. Vintage shirts not only give you a glimpse back in time, they are also very iconic, not to mention the fact that they are good conversation starters.

If you are looking for vintage shirts, here are some quick tips to make your shopping trip a little less tiring and more enjoyable.

Wear a very thin top when shopping for vintage shirts, maybe something made of spandex or leotard like clothing. If it is cold, don an easy to remove jacket then have the leotard on beneath. This will help you fit the vintage shirt even if the thrift shop’s fitting room is now a storage room.
If the shirt is slightly large for you, then you can take it but just have it altered a bit at home or you can ask a professional to do the job for you. It is really very hard to find a perfect fit in vintage shopping.
That being said, once you do find the perfect fit, with the perfect shirt design, do not hesitate to buy it. Successful vintage shirt fits are priceless.
Great vintage shirt prints always bear a certain symbol from the past that will jolt back memories of cheap beer and something awful you did back in your earlier years. So if you were a huge David Hasselhoff fan before and you see a Knight Rider or a Baywatch shirt, seize the moment and buy that shirt pronto!
