Nowadays, if you want to shop at so called “chic” fashion outlets, you need to be at most a size two to be catered at these stores. If you so much as ask for a size three or God forbid, a size four, you end up getting a raised eyebrow from a snooty sales lady and she will haughtily remark for you to find what you are looking for at Target.

But back in the early years, having a fuller body was well loved, even by the media. Which is why it is always fun to shop for plus size cheap vintage clothes. The yesteryears have so much more to offer than the year of Starbucks, speed dating and PlayStation 3.

If you have an hourglass figure, with a full bosom and a full back end, you may want to check out the clothes in the 1950’s, where Marilyn Monroe was the ultimate sex icon, with a great heaving chest and a sexy rounded bottom.

If you have a respectable chest but an even more respectable bottom, then you may want to check out plus size vintage clothes from the 1960’s as this decade boasts of clothing very suitable for those pear shaped ladies, except for the bell bottoms of this decade.
