T-shirts have been a staple in fashion in cheap vintage clothes for some time now. Nowadays, the difference is t-shirts have actually received acceptance even in places or occasions that were used to be strictly formal. Nowadays, celebrities even wear plain colored or custom t-shirts to red carpet events and just wear a formal jacket on top of it. The t-shirt has definitely arrived.

Why has the t-shirt become so popular? With the surge of self-expression and individuality in today’s society, it is no wonder why the t-shirt is so popular. A person’s individual fashion sense and style is presented just by the t-shirt he or she chooses to wear. A lot of custom t-shirts and statement shirts have also sparked the t-shirt revolution as these statement shirts and custom t-shirts promote whatever causes or declarations individuals are trying to promote.

T-shirts are also a good promotion tool. People do not mind being walking billboards, wearing t-shirts with huge logos, which actually come across as ads. Merchandise items, which include t-shirts, mugs, and action figures peak popularity when a new movie. Thus, for example, when a new Batman movie is set for release, you can suddenly see someone wearing a vintage Batman t-shirt, children opting for Batman Halloween costumes, and fast food joints giving away Batman action figures with their meals.

T-shirts have served as an equalizer for all. People from the upper crusts of society to the not so fortunate sectors can be seen in t-shirts. Moreover, the flexibility of the t-shirt to be worn with slacks, jeans, chinos, or shorts have contributed to its popularity. Certainly, the t-shirt is one fashion item that will continue its presence in time.
